Mental performance coach

As a sports performer I suspect you will be spending the majority of your training time on two areas that have an impact on your performance – technical & physical.

You will probably spend hours working on your technique, either on your own or with a coach, honing your technique – so when you need it you know what to do and how to do it. As part of your physical fitness, more and more athletes are understanding the role that nutrition plays.

Yet there is a third area that often gets neglected, one which I suggest makes the difference between being a champion and being a runner-up; and that is your mental performance.

Mental approach plays a huge role in a sports performers’ success or lack of. Fortunately, teams and individuals are now starting to wake up to the fact that they need to train this part of their game, just as much as the other two areas.

My role as Mental Performance Coach, is to partner with you and help change the way you use your mind when you approach performance. The aim is to help you develop belief in yourself, learn how to control your emotional state, and create mental strategies which help to eradicate the negative thinking that has a direct impact on performance. I partner with you to set achievable goals to help you develop a positive attitude that will have a significant impact on the results that you can achieve.
